Arabic in Context: Summer Bridge 2026

Prepare for the school year with an engaging Arabic learning experience designed specifically for middle-years international students.
Arabic in Context: Summer Bridge invites students on a journey across the Arab world where language comes alive through culture, communication, and real-life experiences.
Rather than memorizing isolated vocabulary lists, students learn Arabic through meaningful themes and authentic contexts that build confidence and support language growth over the summer.
Students will explore four connected units:
🌍 I Am an Arabic Explorer
Learn greetings, introductions, and everyday communication.
👨‍👩‍👧 My Family, My Story
Talk about family members, relationships, and professions while exploring family traditions.
🏠 My Home, My Space
Describe rooms, furniture, and everyday spaces using practical language.
🏙️ My City, My World
Explore places, transportation, and movement through real-world city experiences.
Throughout the course students will:
✓ build vocabulary and sentence skills
✓ practice listening and speaking
✓ complete interactive activities and quizzes
✓ participate in audio speaking tasks
✓ connect language to everyday life and culture
Students will also explore authentic experiences from around the Arab world, including:
• Currency and money from different Arab countries
• Birth certificates and traditions surrounding a new child
• Furniture advertisements and shopping experiences
• Navigating Cairo using a city transportation map
This Summer Bridge experience is designed to help students return to school with stronger language foundations, greater confidence, and a deeper understanding of Arabic in the real world.
